Summer School 2025 is right around the corner—and enrollment is now open!
Who can attend?
All students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome!
We strongly encourage all incoming Kindergarteners to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to learn school basics like how to behave in the hallway, what school recess is all about, where to line up for lunch, and the finer points of opening milk cartons. Likewise, incoming 6th graders will get a chance to explore Savannah Middle School before school this fall!
When and Where:
📅 May 27 – June 27, 2025
⏰ 7:40 AM – 2:40 PM (drop-off starts at 7:15 AM)
📍Sites:
– Helena + John Glenn students: attend John Glenn
– Amazonia + Minnie Cline students: attend Minnie Cline
– All 6th graders: attend Savannah Middle School
🚌 Shuttle Bus Available (routes reverse in the afternoon)
– Helena → JG → SMS
– Amazonia → MC → SMS
What will my child be doing?
Summer School is a mix of learning and fun! Kids might research and create sea creatures, play outdoor games, or learn to make simple snacks.
Cost:
It’s free to attend! Families only pay for breakfast and lunch, just like during the school year. A summer menu will be shared in May.
After-School Care:
Inspirations Academy (Bloom) is available at the elementary schools, but it is not run by the district. It requires separate enrollment and is not free. Learn more here: https://inspirationsacademy.co/after-school.
