Mrs. Raines and Ms. Way took a team of Savannah mathematicians to Math Contest at Northeast Nodaway on February 1st. The contest consisted of 4 tests:
Number Sense - a 10 minute test consisting of 80 problems that are designed to be solved mentally
Sprint Round - a 40 minute multiple choice test consisting of 30 questions
Target Round - 4 pairs of problems where students have 6 minutes to complete each pair
Team Round - Up to 4 team members work together for 20 minutes to answer 10 questions.

Caylor Schrick - 4th place overall in grade, 5th place in Sprint Round, and 7th place in Number Sense

Aiden Heastan - 8th place overall in grade, 7th place in Sprint Round, and 6th place in Number Sense
Sam Moore - 8th place in Sprint Round

Camden Chambers - 6th place overall in grade, 5th place in Sprint Round, and 6th place in Number Sense
Abram Marinchek - 15th place overall in grade and 10th place in Number Sense
Cole Schweizer - 8th place overall in grade, 7th place in Sprint Round, and 5th place in Number Sense

The Savannah Math Team placed 2nd out of all schools that participated!
