SHS Families,
In an attempt to help the flow of traffic for student drop-off in the mornings, we will open another door for families to drop off their children. Entrance to campus will remain the same, please enter from E highway. The first door to drop off children will be Door #22 (the old main entrance, near the brick marquee).
All families will need to pull forward to the main entrance when able. If you are in line on the upper part of our parking lot, I ask that your child exit your vehicle. With these two doors open, we should be able to have up to 15 vehicles drop their children off at once, greatly reducing the wait time. This will begin on Monday November 6, 2023.
Please see the attached graphic for details.
Check out our department Halloween costumes! Great job English, Math, and Science departments in bringing the Halloween spirit!
Please help us in welcoming the newest National Honor Society members who were inducted on October 24th! Congratulations!
This season, our 'Marching Savages' are featuring the musical stylings of the one and only Elvis Presley! To help them prepare, Ben Johnson - local tribute artist, gave them a special performance and spoke to them about the life of Elvis and what his music means to the world. Ben even stayed around to take individual photos with every band member who asked.😍 Having Elvis live and in person was a great inspiration boost for the band and a fun way to connect with a local artist. On behalf of the Band and the District, please help us say a big "Thank you, Thank you very much!" to Ben Johnson.
PS - Don't miss the band's light show THIS Friday during halftime of the varsity football game. This show never disappoints, and this year, it will feature 'Can't Help Falling in Love,' 'Jailhouse Rock,' and 'All Shook Up.' Kick-off is at 7, and who knows, you might even see our own Savage Elvis on the field.😉
Due to the weather and wet field conditions the powder puff games are canceled for today.
Rain or shine the homecoming parade will start at 2pm!!

Who needs a landline anymore? Turns out...WE DO!! Phone lines have been up and down across the district all week. Please bear with us as we work through the issues. With any luck, lines will be restored before the end of the day. If you need to get ahold of someone, please try sending an email.
