Welcome, Class of 2039!

Starting kindergarten is a major milestone for children and their families, marking the start of a thirteen-year journey toward being a successful Savannah R3 graduate. We are excited to be a part of your child's educational adventure. Your child’s kindergarten year will be filled with fun, lots of learning, and growth—both academically and socially!

To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be five years of age by July 31, 2025, and must live in the Savannah R3 school district.

Kindergarten Roundup Information. Call your local elementary school for specific times and information

Savannah R3 invites parents and guardians of soon-to-be kindergarteners to attend Kindergarten Roundup at their future school this spring.

Kindergarten Roundup gives parents and guardians the opportunity to visit their child's future school, meet the principal and staff, and ask questions.

Parents are encouraged to call their neighborhood elementary school before Kindergarten Roundup to request to be added to any school-specific kindergarten contact lists.

A note from the school nurse...

Welcome! We can't wait to meet you and your child! Please take a moment to read over the information below, and be sure to note the special forms all kindergarten students are required to complete by the first day of school.

It is imperative that you inform the school nurse as soon as possible of any chronic health conditions, food allergies, or medical procedures your child may require during the school day so that we can be ready to meet their needs on the first day.
