Exposing our students to real world jobs is an important part of keeping their education full circle. Today United Way of Greater St. Joseph hosted breakfast with engineering and architecture experts at Savannah High. Students heard from Savannah grad Kevin Schneider Superintendent of Streets and Infrastructure for the City of St. Joe, Sara Markt Architect and owner of SMart Architecture and Design, and Jessica Patel Electrical Engineer from Altec. All three experts spoke to entry level jobs that require a High School diploma or GED, the importance of tech school, and higher level degree positions. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the experts on a real and personal level.
